Andrew Murray,
Executive Director - Public Safety
Andrew is the Executive Director (Public Safety) and founder of ERMS Group. Andrew has a firm background in law enforcement, investigations, security management, public safety, emergency response and protective intelligence after over 20 years’ experience in public and private sector organisations.
Prior to starting ERMS, Andrew has held various positions in both public and private sector of where he was responsible for operational risk assessments, investigations (criminal and civil), facilitation of training and development workshops, development and facilitation of emergency and security exercises, as well as providing strategic, operational and tactical security and emergency management services.
Andrew has previously been involved in investigations, utilising skilled investigative techniques to assist civil and criminal matters for a number of different organisations (government and private enterprise) Andrew is the former Vice-President for the Oceania Council of the International Association of Emergency Managers, a position that he held for 5 years.
He is also the current chair for the Health Sector Group for the Department of Home Affairs’ Trusted Information Sharing Network.
